John Spicola started ​Leather Made In Italy because ​it appeared no one had a website devoted to what is considered by many to be the Leather Capital of the world, Florence, Italy.

That's why ​I decided to create leathermadeinitaly.com.

Along the way, ​I found our featured resource that appeared to be ideal for what I was trying to achieve as all products on the website are hand-crafted in Florence, Italy.

There, we use the finest "PREMIUM" hides (as defined by the Leather Industry) for our jackets and water and scratch resistant, vegetable dyed Calfskin for our handbags.

In the end, I want to be ​the site where passionate people can find all their leather needs.
